Hoss's Bio

Co-founded Innovex Partners in 1999. Prior to Innovex Partners, Hoss founded Innovex in 1997, a Corporate Development consulting firm, managing seven successful Mergers & Acquisitions, two by publicly traded companies. These assignments ranged from resetting the strategic or marketing direction, acting as CEO, member of executive management team, and heading up due diligence teams, leading to successful fund-raising or M&A activities. Hoss started his career over 20 years ago in Silicon Valley as an engineer, building experience and knowledge through variety of hands-on and executive positions held in engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and general management, spanning from Semiconductors to Peripherals, Software, Networking, and Telecommunication industries. These positions were held with number of companies such as National Semiconductors, Sperry Univac, Control Data Corporations, Magnetic Peripherals Inc., Philips Electronics, and Diablo Research Company. Through these positions he has worked with companies like IBM, Compaq, HP, Sony, Microsoft, Cisco, Lucent Technologies, Extreme Networks, etc. Hoss has completed the Executive Management Program at Stanford University Alumni Association, and holds a BS degree in Engineering from San Jose State University.

Arend's Bio


Joined and co-founded Innovex Partners in 1999. Prior to joining Innovex Partners, Arend worked at Diablo Research Company a 200 person Wireless & Telecommunication engineering services organization as President & CEO. In this capacity and during his 18 months tenure, he managed and orchestrated a turn around program that resulted in double-digit quarterly growth both in sales and profit, and a successful acquisition by Cadence Design Systems. Arend started his career 20 years ago in Philips Electronics research labs in Netherlands, building a successful multi-continent track record in technology, strategy, and sales & marketing management roles. Prior to leaving Philips, as Sr. VP of Sales & Marketing for Philips Component, Arend oversaw $ 1 Bln of sales in North America, and managed number of sensitive alliances with companies like HP, IBM and Sony. In addition to his MBA from Rochester University's William E. Simon School of Business, Arend also holds both a BS & MS degrees in Mechanical engineering from Netherlands.
